The Ultimate Guide to 2020 Dine Out Vancouver Festival

Canada’s largest annual dining celebration, Dine Out Vancouver, officially starts for the 18th year. From January 17, 2020 to February 2, 2020, this festival features hundred of restaurants, each offerings menus priced at $15, $25, $35, or $45 per person, not including beverages, taxes, and gratuity. With a wide selection of cuisine, diners can be adventurous to visit the new restaurants. However, with hundreds options, it is difficult and expensive to try every one of them. So, I compiled a list of restaurants that I think it is worth to go based on my regular dining experience and quality-price of the menu.

Vitality Steam Seafood, enjoying OceanWise Seafood at its finest

Steam seafood has been popular in Asia for a while, because you can enjoy the seafood at its fullest. The fresh seafood is steamed with no additional seasonings. The juice from the fresh seafood will fall through the steamer and into the congee at the bottom. At the end of the meal, the aromatic congee will be ready. About half year ago, a restaurant with similar concept, Vitality Steam Seafood, finally arrives to Vancouver.

2nd Annual Crab Festival at Water St. Cafe

Water St. Cafe is a well-known restaurant in Gastown, right across the Gastown Steam Clock. With the elegant ambiance and delectable food, it attracts locals and tourists to pay a visit. Last weekend, my friend, David invited me to try the dishes for their 2nd Annual Crab Festival. From now until July 1, 2019, you can get your hands the freshest BC Dungeness Crab through the feature menu for brunch, lunch, and dinner.

Platter Dinner for Two at Glowbal by Glowbal

Few weeks ago, Andrew brought me to Glowbal by Glowbal to try out the upcoming featured Platter Dinner for two. From April 24 to 30, customers can enjoy a dinner for two, valued at $198, for only $98. I think it is such an awesome value, especially if you need a dinner plan for any special occasions.
