likebyregina What do you think of when I mention “yacht”? Since I have never been on a yacht before, my image of yacht comes from TV shows I watched. I always thought yacht often has a old and constricted interior. But Pacific Yacht Charters totally changes my impression of what a yacht should really look like! Last weekend, I got a chance to hop on the Pacific Yacht for my first time, and I am amazed by the luxurious, spacious interior and amazing food quality.
Pacific Yacht is a 105-foot, three level, luxury vessel featuring a elegant lounge, warming dining salon, and a full service bar. If the weather permits, you can enjoy an open air sky deck, surrounded by a panoramic view of Vancouver landscape. The yacht can hold up to 250 guests for a cocktail event or 120 guests for a dinner or buffet. With years of expertise in planning luxury and wedding events, you can count on them on premium food quality and top-notch service.
This year, Pacific Yacht Charters is doing something different and wants everyone to enjoy their Holiday Tables on December 12 and December 19. Instead of gathering a large group, you can now book a table for a small group of 10 to enjoy a full buffet meal, prepared by the Executive chef, Chef Mardy Ra, and his team. It includes hors d’oeuvres, sparkling welcome drink, buffet, dessert, coffee and tea.
Here are some samples that I tried during the “Off-the-Boat” catering event few weeks ago, and I think this is the best catering service I have ever tried.
Something that worths to mention is that the yacht has a built in sound system with guest WiFi access throughout the yacht. Though it is important to have real interactions with family, I found it convenient and surprised to know that the yacht has WiFi access. In addition, I also like how customizable and flexible the special event menu can be, which is adjustable to any common dietary restrictions, vegetarian, or vegan options.

Pacific Yacht Charters changes my impression of a yacht entirely and sets the bar high for any future catering services I will have. I enjoyed the welcoming and cozy vibe on the yacht, as well as the amazing, panoramic view of Vancouver. The food is spectacular, and the team is always looking for perfection to make your next event be the best one! If you are looking for a venue for a joyful Christmas party, Pacific Yacht Charters is where you need to be to have an extraordinary night.
