The Ultimate Guide to 2020 Dine Out Vancouver Festival

Canada’s largest annual dining celebration, Dine Out Vancouver, officially starts for the 18th year. From January 17, 2020 to February 2, 2020, this festival features hundred of restaurants, each offerings menus priced at $15, $25, $35, or $45 per person, not including beverages, taxes, and gratuity. With a wide selection of cuisine, diners can be adventurous to visit the new restaurants. However, with hundreds options, it is difficult and expensive to try every one of them. So, I compiled a list of restaurants that I think it is worth to go based on my regular dining experience and quality-price of the menu.

Mayelo Foods: Mexican Food Delivering to your House in this Cold Winter

Mayelo Foods recently opens its door, and it serves authentic Mexican dishes, such as tacos, taco dorado, and horchata, etc. With food delivery being more popular these days, it doesn’t have a storefront. Instead, it offers food delivery directly to your house through UberEats and DoorDash. Prior to the grand opening, the owners hand-delivered some food items to my door, and I was so thankful for this personal service. Anyway, let me tell you what I think about them.

Tasting Plates Mount Pleasant

Last night, I went on a mini food crawl with Eva and Jason at the Tasting Plates event around the Mount Pleasant neighborhood. There are four participating restaurants, including PappaRoti, Uma Sushi, Maizal, and Westcoast Poke. We get to experience and enjoy some of the signature food items from different restaurant.

#ChewingforCharity Campaign

Have you ever thought of helping someone in need while dining out and enjoying delicious dishes in restaurants? We now have a suggestion for you.

Recently, Tangoo Marketing started a Give Warmth Campaign, where 4 participating restaurants crafted special and comforting dishes. From now on until January 19, for each campaign dish sold, the participating restaurant will donate towards A Better Life Foundation to help people who are in need.
